What Is the FIFA Club World Cup 2025?
Before 2025, this tournament only had 6–8 teams and was played every December. It included the champions from each continent.

But now, it has been expanded to 32 teams and will happen once every four years, just like the regular FIFA World Cup.
How Does the New Format Work?
- 32 teams are divided into 8 groups of 4
- They play group matches (round-robin style)
- The top 2 teams from each group move to the knockout stage
- The knockout rounds include Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Final

- Group Stage: June 14 – 26
- Round of 16: June 28 – July 1
- Quarterfinals: July 4 – 5

Where Will Matches Be Played?
There are 12 stadiums in 11 US cities. Big matches, including the final, will be played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
